What is a CSA?

CSA stands for Community Shared Agriculture. It is a great way to support your local farmers and in return, get weekly offerings of fresh, seasonal vegetables. As part of our CSA share you will receive a weekly update of happenings on our farm and delicious recipes featuring the vegetables in your share. Our CSA is a great way to eat with the seasons, try new recipes, new varieties of vegetables and to see all the love and work that goes into growing your food!

What does a typical weekly share look like?

At the start of our season you might see more leafy greens such as pea shoots, salad greens, and micro greens. However as the season progresses you will see a variety of seasonal vegetables including but not limited to heirloom tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, broccolini, carrots, kale, corn, beets, sweet peas, eggplants, peppers and much more! We work with other local farms to expand our offerings to include berries and other produce so you get the most out of the summer's harvest.

Is a CSA right for me?

As wonderful as CSAs are, they may not be the right fit for everyone. We offer a traditional CSA where we provide our members with fresh seasonal vegetables each week. We try to mix it up week to week with the variety of vegetables, but if you are picky, or have a lot of dietary restrictions then our CSA model may not be the one for you. Our shares will be delivered to the two locations weekly at the specified time. If you travel or change your schedule frequently our CSA may not be the right fit for you. However we understand that situations do change and we can be flexible to changing pick-up locations with advance notice. If you forget to pick-up your share or cannot pick-up your share we can make arrangements for you to pick-up at our farm store or we can donate your share. You can also have a friend pick-up your share and have them enjoy your veggies for the week as a nice little gift!

What size should I get?

Our small share feeds 1-2 people, and our large share typically feeds 3-4 people. Our full CSA season runs 22 weeks long, the first week of June through October. Our Summer share runs 14 weeks long, the first week of June through August.
